The BIOS engineering team has commissioned 8 welding cells and a total of 20 robots at Toyota's France plant, completing all PLC software and robot programming work as part of the project.
Project Scope
The main works carried out by BIOS at Toyota's France production facility:
• Commissioning of the electrical and automation infrastructure across 8 welding cells
• Programming of all 20 robots installed in the cells
• PLC integration of the welding fixtures
• On-site testing and full production readiness of the cells
BIOS Contribution
The project demonstrated that BIOS's expertise in robotic welding systems and PLC software translates effectively to an international Toyota facility. Design, mechanical manufacturing, PLC software, equipment installation and commissioning were all delivered to automotive industry standards.
