Durak Fındık A.Ş., operator of Europe's largest integrated hazelnut facility and a long-standing supplier to leading brands in the industry, has selected BIOS as its turnkey partner for a new facility investment.
From decommissioning the existing production lines to commissioning them at the new site, the entire process was managed end-to-end by the BIOS engineering team.

Process Improvements
During the reinstallation of the relocated processes at the new site, BIOS's sector experience enabled improvements at multiple points throughout the layout. Time and cost losses between intermediate processes were eliminated, allowing the installation to be completed efficiently.
An Industry First: Custom Automation Solutions
The project introduced two custom automation systems, both applied for the first time in the hazelnut processing industry:
• Fan Alarm System: Monitors the status of production line fans in real time, detecting potential failures before they occur.
• Accept/Reject Poka-Yoke System: An automated control mechanism that prevents defective products from passing to subsequent processes.
These innovative solutions earned recognition from Durak Fındık A.Ş.'s own customers.
